- WHAT TO SEE? - WHAT TO DO?
- Cau Ferrat, It was the studio-house of the modernist painter and writer Santiago Rusiñol. The house was in the ground floor and in the first floor there was a collection of wrought iron, which Rusiñol collected during his youth. Now, it contains one of the best collections of paintings and drawings of the modernist generation.
- Maricel Museum, Nowadays is a graphic museum, most dedicated to medieval art. It contains a large and varied collection, ranging from medieval and Renaissance works to furniture, ceramics, porcelain, glass…, but, especially, works of artists with a Sitges connection, from the Romantic period to the 20th century (with painters as Pere Pruna or Artur Carbonell), from the beginners of the luminist school and the best modernist artists.
- Romantic Museum, Also called "Can Llopis", is a house from the XIX century, perfectly preserved, that approaches the viewer to the way of living of a Catalan land owners family, who lived his splendour during the Romantic period.
- The Shrine of the Vinyet, The image of the Vinyet Virgin is praised there, art work from the XII and XIII centuries. Most of the shrine was built between 1727 and 1733. The bellfry is from 1872.
- Beaches. Sitges has 7 beaches along its 4 km of coast, with a fine and shiny sand. The most importants are: les Botigues, Cala Ginesta, Garraf, Cala Morisca (naturist), Vallcarca, Aiguadolç, Balmins, …
- Ports. Apart from beaches, Sitges is one of the coast catalan towns with more ports. It has an industrial port (Vallcarca), and three leisure harbours (Aiguadolç, Garraf and Port Ginesta). All of them offer a wide range of nautical and leisure services. The port of Aiguadolç, the nearest form the city centre, has a considerable offer of restaurants, music bars and discos.
- Cruises. From Sitges there are wonderful cruises to the best coves and beaches from the Balearic Islands and the Costa Brava.
- Sports, Apart from nautical sports, Sitges offers the possibility of playing golf in its Golf Club (one of the most ancient in Spain), and also of riding in one of its two Riding Clubs.
